About Us

Tim Stanton, Project Coordinator / Field Chief

C.L.G. Associates Land Surveyors has been providing professional land surveying services to residential and commercial clients on the north shore and Boston since 1996. We have over Fifty years of combined experience and we pride ourselves in providing accurate, on schedule and on budget work. Since land surveying is a crucial service to home owners, builders and architects, we do not send other people to do our work. Either Bill or Tim or both will be on site performing the field work. We provide that extra personal touch. After all your land and home are very big investments and should be treated with respect. We take the time to help the homeowner and if you have to deal with your city hall we can help guide you thru the maze of plans and paperwork. We are not a huge company; we didn't lay out the big dig. But that makes our overhead low, so our rates are very reasonable. You will not be disappointed.

When should you get your property surveyed?

  • When purchasing a home / you do not want to inherit the former owners boundary dispute and your mortgage plot plan is not worth the paper it is printed on... it's a bank technicality that has disclaimers with regards to its accuracy... basically it is a tape survey not an instrument survey.
  • If you are putting on an addition city hall will require a proposed and as built plot plan.
  • If you are planning on Sub dividing your property
  • If you are planning on putting on a deck / city hall will require a proposed plot plan
  • If you are planning on putting in a pool / city hall will require a plot plan
  • When purchasing title insurance
  • ..and most importantly, When you need to know where your lot lines are.
